Types and Precautions for Using Soundproof Office Booths

A soundproof booth is a special acoustic room with low decibels in indoor environments. It belongs to a type of laboratory and is mainly used for testing sound levels, isolating intense environmental noise, and creating a quiet working environment. It is generally composed of steel plates, sound insulation boards, shock absorption damping materials, main frame of keel, fireproof filtering cloth, and internal metal micro-perforated sound-absorbing layer.

Types of Soundproof Booths:

Soundproof booths are generally divided into fixed, movable, detachable, and modular assembly forms.

1. Fixed soundproof booths: Installed in fixed locations and cannot be moved. The advantages are long service life, sturdy and aesthetic appearance, and easy manufacturing. The disadvantage is that it can only be used in a fixed manner.

2. Movable soundproof booths: The bottom of the soundproof booth is equipped with pulleys for easy movement. However, due to the large volume and heavy weight of the soundproof booth, it is generally not made for mobility. Small soundproof boxes are equivalent to movable soundproof booths and have the characteristics of small size, beautiful appearance, light weight, good sound insulation effect, and convenient mobility.

3. Detachable (modular assembly) soundproof booths: Detachable soundproof booths are mainly used for reuse during relocations, with high utilization rates. However, the cost of detachable soundproof booths is about 30% higher than that of ordinary soundproof booths.

Precautions and Maintenance for Using Soundproof Booths:

1. The power supply voltage for the booth should be less than 220V.

2. Lubricating oil should be regularly added to the bearings of the soundproof door to keep it flexible in rotation.

3. Keep the soundproof booth clean during daily use.

4. Regularly inspect, maintain, and clean the booth in daily life.

5. It is forbidden to forcefully impact the booth walls or use hard objects to strike the walls.

6. Unauthorized modification of the booth structure is strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the overall integrity of the soundproof booth.

7. The use of high-temperature, humid, explosive, flammable, and strongly corrosive items is strictly prohibited inside the soundproof booth.
